My new favorite singer...

So I was stumbling around the internet today (as I tend to do for the first few hours of every morning before fully switching into something like "Work Mode") and I think I read an article about a gay bashing that was being ignored in Australia and I folloed the link to the Australian paper it was being printed in and I was just curious as to what was popular over there so I checked out the performances coming to town...I found an article about this "remarkable and reknowned American artist" by the name of Sufjan Stevens. So I dashed over to YouTube to see if I could find any video performances and I certainly did...and Mr. Stevens has found himself a new fan! I think that the two of you who actually read this might enjoy him, too - check him out. I'll put up some of the videos that I found - I love his voice and the lyrics are really entrancing. He is one of those singers that can be enjoyed on a couple of levels - you can just ignore what he's saying and use his voice as another instrument and just enjoy the overall sound or you can listen intently to the words and love the stories... His songs are almost all autobiographical or contain some autobiographical elements. I just dig the guy...and he's pretty easy on the eyes as well as the ears - I never said I wasn't shallow...
